Do you have the "Bullet_Casings" folder inside the UserConfig folder?
the path should look something like this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\UserConfig\Bullet_Casings\UserConfigFile.hpp
Now I have found a bug, but it's nothing serious, just some casings seem to be coming out of the wrong guns, for example:
GM6 Lynx (.50 cal) seems to be dropping 5.56mm - same with Rahim, Zafir, and SPMG
SMG's I tested (vermin - .45 and scorpion and PDW2000 - 9mm) all seem to be dropping 5.56mm
Some of the 7.62x51 mm weapons seem to be dropping 7.62x39 (casing is really short) - Noticed this on Mk-I EMR, Mk14 and Mk18
Also, is there anything I can do to stop the mod writing text on start of the mission - write something in userconfig maybe?
Anyway, thanks for making the mod!
do you have the proper userConfig folder in your arma 3 directory?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3\UserConfig\Bullet_Casings\UserConfigFile.hpp
Also sometimes if your on a object or inside a building, casings might fall through and land on the terrain below the object, not being visible.
good work otherwise though. when i use the mossberg in rhs it drops actual 12 gauge shells. i was surprised.
-Added GUI for configuration of Bullet Casing Settings
-Added Saving of Personal Settings
-Completely Removed Usage of Userconfig File
-Fixed AI not dropping casings
-Fixed Error "No entry 'bin/config.bin/CfgPatches/bullet_cases.units.'"
-Adjusted Code to work with new User Settings Method
Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into a fix
MXM and all MX series rifles are "caseless" rifles
So in the arma world they do not eject casings
