Cardboard box dosen't work

I spawnd a combine elite while i crouched with the cardboard box but it didn't work cus it started shooting me
i spawned it with disabled thinking on and crouched then i reenabled thinking and it still keeps shooting me.
it dosenn't work if i hide in the darkness either.
how do I fix this?

Does the mod work without the cardboard box? Because it seems nothing is working, not only the box. You probably have another AI mod or something messing with NPC relationships.

Are you using any AI mod like iNPCs? Something that changes NPC relationships? This mod is not compatible with those mods.
