How do we set out own list of weapons that won't alert enemies and npcs?
Go to "garrysmod/data/stealth" and add the weapon class to one of these files:
- silent.txt for completely silent weapons (like melee weapons)
- suppressed.txt for weapons that make less noice.
Remember to reload the lists if the game is open while doing this.

Do I need the original mod?
No, and its probably better if you don't use both at the same time. They may conflict.

Why does the mod have to mess with npc relationships?
I use relationships to make NPCs "friendly" when you're undetected, and enemies when they spot you. There isn't much I can do to change that.

How do I find the class name of weapons and npcs to add to my custom list?
Go to your spawn menu and right click its portrait, then Copy to Clipboard. Paste it somewhere and you got the class name.

Enemies don't take damage when I'm undetected.
This mod is not compatible with "Anti-FriendlyFire (NPC)" mod.

Enemies ignore other NPCs when they detect me.
It's a known bug. I still don't know how to fix it. It may be a engine limitation.

How do I turn this off?
"stealth_enable 0" in the console, or in the settings panel located in the Options tab of your toolmenu.

Enemies attack me even if I'm undetected.
Something that changes NPC relationships is conflicting with this mod.

How does one get the third-person effect like in the pictures?

Could you add Reflex Mode from MGS?
No.

How do you turn off the music and sound?
"stealth_enablemusic 0" and "stealth_enablesound 0", or in the settings panel located in the Options tab of your toolmenu.

Does this work on SNPCs?
Probably not, you'll have to test it yourself. Some less complex SNPCs may work.
NextBots won't work at all.

How do you use the box?
Equip it and crouch. The enemy won't detect you as long as you don't move. It's pretty useless if the enemy is not moving. I've made a tool to create patrol routes.

NPCs are basically blind indoors on default settings.
Yes, the way it calculates visibility is a bit unpredictable, but I can't do much to improve it. Half Life 2 wasn't made with stealth in mind.

NPCs don't move.
Make sure the map you're playing on has a Nodegraph.

This is not compatible with FiLzO's Reviving Mod.
No, because enemies treat you as an ally while you're undetected or dead. They'll try to revive you (and then kill you again).

Can you make it so visibility is affected by dynamic lights and lamps?
No. I tried to implement that, but it makes enemies detect you while using a Night Vision mod, because they emit dynamic lights at the player position.

Enemies don't investigate bodies/ I can't drag bodies.
Make sure "Keep Corpses" is on, or "Keep Corpses Override" from my settings panel.
However, if you're using "GibMod" or "Blood and Gore Overhaul" you have to disable both and it will work fine.
