ORBAT faction questions...
I am wanting to port some factions from one side to another but I haven't ANY clue how to use ORBAT properly, I thought originally that if you were to just port them it would keep those copies in the faction list but I obviously had no clue.

Any help on the subject would be appreciated.

Answer: first you make the faction, "new faction" fill out the information, then go unit editor, new, give name and classname, then scrolldown to the bottom, select the side the units you want are on, then select exact faction, find the unit, then ok, edit loadout/appearance as needed, after youve filled up your faction, if you want go group editor and make some combat groups.. then here comes the tricky part, go export.. you need two things from export.. first you go full faction... export that, make a folder in your arma 3 add ons folder, name it, then insert a txt document.. change the name to "config" and the extention to ".cpp" now when you exported your faction it only copied to clipboard, open your config file, and paste your faction there.. now you should have half your faction.. the other half requires us going back to arma, hitting export again but this time hitting cgf patches. take your new exported junk and paste it in your config ABOVE your other code but BELLOW the 5 million "/" that you see at the very top. you now have a full faction config, it is important to not turn off arma 3 until youve copied both sections of code

After that you simply install arma 3 tools, (comes with arma 3 free) and pack it into a pbo.. I can explain that process if needed but otherwise thats everything
