Is *_ModShaderCache.upk necessary for this mod?
According to this page many mods can delete *_ModShaderCache.upk to clear out 85MB of unnecessary junk.

That one file takes up about 90% of the size of your mod, so it's worth investigating if it can be deleted.

Well, the shadercache was pretty small in the beginning but then Firaxis updated the game and the dev tool and it ended up this size. I quess it's a bug but deleting the file in mods that use any assets besides ini files could cause problems. As soon as they fix this I will update the mod.

TrackTwo figured out how to fix it. You need to build the mod, delete the 85MB file, and rebuild the mod a second time. The shader-cache will then be the correct size (usually around 150KB).

Leaving this file is not harmless, aside from wasting space it gets loaded by XCOM 2, drastically slowing down load times and increasing memory usage. That's the reason if you subscribe to a lot of model/voice-pack mods, the loading-time slows down to a crawl.

Well, I will see if this works and if it does I will include it into the next update.
