1/item and 1/soldier = 1/slot?
This is a great resource. I had 2 remarks though:

  • I gather that 1/item concerns those items that are produced in a random way, such as experimental ammo, so need to be produced for each item of that category. Is that right?

However, is it really necessary to distinguish 1/item and 1/soldier categories? In fine they are the same kind: they occupy one slot (in the general sense, could be an entire armor, or one armor pocket/slot) and are replenished after the missions.

  • Besides, for this reason should not the Skulljack be the 1/soldier type? The Skullmine is not a sub-type of Skulljack, it "replaces/upgrades" it (once)?

Yeah I was going for trying to describe that you get one (random) item per project. Perhaps I was trying to be too clever though, given that the legend already says its random. I think you're right, stating 1/soldier is better info and more consistent.

Cool, looks good. I had a look at the latest PDF, Experimental grenade (1/soldier) bleeds out of its frame. Otherwise, it is very nice!

Alternatively, since 1/soldier and 1/item are merged, maybe there could be a better name for it? I reckon 1/slot is not very satisfactory, as a slot is the word for an armor pocket. What about unitary?

I kind of like 1/slot, actually, but for the items that actually take up a slot. So 1/soldier applies to stuff that can only be carried one-of-each by a soldier (armors, weapons, etc) and 1/slot would be for grenades, some utility items, etc. Hows that sound? Might be trying too get to clever again.

I think it would work. I am not a native English speaker, but sounds reasonable indeed. We would have however two different words for the same concept. On the other hand, they are indeed different.
