In a game about building ships
Let me start with what I found awesome about this game: The first time I played, I saw a wreckage in the distance so I flew a fighter out and found a wreck flying through space at high speed. I used the magnetic landing gear on the fighter to land on the shell- fly out and enter the ship- restore it to working condition and fly it back to my station. That was AWESOME! Super fun! Now what can I do?

Now the problem: Now it's time to build the ship.

There's no symmetry option. No AI build options. You can't even design the shell without manually moving parts back and forth. Don't get me started on making me manually designate every part and piece for a block. Why design a game that focuses on the most boring and worst parts of ship design itead of the best parts? You should never make tedium a game mechanic, especially not into a CORE MECHANIC...

After coming from a game like From The Depths I just see no reason to ever build a ship in this game. If you want to make something good you're going to have to seriously rethink the way building works.
