Yes, you can find all the resources above all around the map, silk is easiest getting by killing moths (butterfles) or in the cave. The big cave up North there's silk plants and on the top of the cave (not inside) you can find sandstones. Cactus, salt and sulfur rocks are spread out on the map, you can find them most places, but there's alot on the east coast, at the desert area.
