Texture Loading Problem
Hi got a question. What could be causing me and my brother to be having a texture problem. It seems to be on this map and on the Madagascar Map its the exact same thing. Im the admin of a cluster setup and so far Shigo Islands and Offical maps runs totally fine. What seems to be happening is it looks like some things are only in Simple texture mode like I am far away and they are not loading the detailed texture model. It happens on things like my gun, tools, map to random dinos to rocks.

Things i have tried.

1 Reinstalled the entire game.
2 Reinstalled the map.
3 Ftp the map from my home machine to my server.

I can get it to load correctly on some things if i turn everying to epic then to low, then everything within sight will fix itself but when i come accross something else further away it is back in simple texture mode but its random on what it is. Help would be really apprecaited if anyone knows whats going on. Thank you.

Have you played around with your settings? things like Texture Sampling, LOD and detail will effect dramatically what you have on screen...if its anything below HIGH...you will lose detail.

Hi Yes Of course. Its not really the detail thats the problem. It fails to load the textures. For example say a dino in front of me looks fine it has his textures then if i go to another part of the map that same dino might not have it and looks totally smooth with no texture. It has to be something wrong with the map because im not the only one its happeneing to. Thanks for the help

Having the same issue with textures, when i first tried out this map it was loading fine but now that i have come back to it... it doesnt seem to want to load, along with wierd lighting effects around the map. Been messing with settings but cant seem to find what works. I plan on trying everything to see if i can get it to work.

its the game guys not the maps. You have to reset the settings in the game and then apply them again to your pc, restart steam and it should work

I did that but it still happens after i restart the game.

This does not happen on oficial maps or some custom maps. For me it only happens on your map.

TP_Moon - Not doubting its happening but I'm saying its not because of the map. As iLogix says, he sees it on his server with another map. something just happens with the game sometimes.
