Got something to say that isn't a suggestion and isn't technical support? (For techie questions please leave a comment. It'll be more visible for others who might encounter the same problem.)

this mod goes well with hardware mod, its more interesting when your main profit is stuff like hard drives and on the side you are making small programs for home and small buisness

That's a problem. But you can also fix it just by removing one file from the mod. Unfortunately I'm not sure where Steam puts the mod!

But the filename is "Base.xml" in the SoftwareTypes directory in the mod folder. It only contains that feature.
i found where this mod is stored; root steam folder/steamapps/workshop/content/362620 *software inc mod folder*/658922932 *where this mod is stored*/ im sure this numbers will vary, but you get the idea. strange that game can launch mods from its own mods folder, but auto downloaded ones are stored in the middle of f**** nowhere, is that an sort of defence so regular human cant get them and share mods to the people who obtained the game "bad" way (games obtained with the "bad" way dont have online support)? well done, Mr.Coredumping. Anyways, back to playing

It is probably because Steam Workshop content is generally not stored in the game directory itself. ;)

But good job finding it!

i guess with that stupid concept of not aplying mod updates to started games i will never get to at least 80's ;( at least people who is not bothered with having all up-to-date are happy. love this mod for a nice mix of interesting software and not having trash things like BotNets (yes, some mods have it), OS's are much funnier now

Hey there! in general, amazing mod. One thing that's bothering me though. Why did you add "system", "databases" and "algorythm" into Art skill?
Last edited by LivedOnce; 11 Jul, 2018 @ 3:59am
well databases need art. Here by art i understand making database interface look intuitive and accessible to user. I hope i remember how skills work in this game, havent played for long...

So it's the interface to the database, not the database itself. So shouldn't it be 2D/3D/UI instead?

Also, how about "System" and "Algorithm"
