[QUESTS] Pre-Disaster: Sector B, Part 1

NPC QUESTS - Suggestions, Implementation
With the latest update has come the implementation of 2 basic fetch quests for your fellow scientists. This involves getting an item from somewhere and giving it to the scientist in question.

I think this is a good step towards something amazing.

But before I can go implementing sidequests everywhere, I need to find out what people want as objectives.

eg. helping with experiments, fixing something, fetching another scientist etc.

What do YOU guys want to see in this map, to make it more of an experience rather than a cool little explore-around?

I DO have a few suggestions, I'll just list them here.

-Being able to talk to scientists and maybe a bit of story on some of the scientists that you learn when you talk to them
-Help with experiments and also conduct your own
-Choose professions. If you could do that. (Guard, Scientist, etc)
-Making your own group of scientists to conduct experiments (Links with the experiment suggestion)
-Interact with items more (Like using the computer or even write on paper)

I do have 1 more suggestion that might need to be in some sort of different map. But maybe you could make a map that shows what would've happened if the experiment succeeded?

I might've been stretching your abilities with scripting in this, but these are just suggestions. I really like the idea of this Pre Disaster map, And I hope this was usefull!

I think cross-map quests would be cool, since there's already some other PD maps (namely Office Complex and Questionable Ethics) already on the workshop, so when the majority of the facility is mapped (or someone makes some sort of cross map tram system) we could give things to scientists in other sectors using an inventory system. For instance, a scientist in Sector D wants you to go to the biodome complex to give some information to the administration there.

Yes, one day we will have all of the singleplayer completed as a whole, in pre-disaster.

I was just giving some ideas for the future, but for now, I think some experiment help (e.g. you need to go to the AMS to do a normal experiment there, no resonance cascade) would be fun once more of the facility is mapped out. I'm going to try and learn hammer so I can help you with Sector B if I can. Luckily we have the VMFs and don't have to map from scratch.

I suggest either some custom voices, or something else to replace the giant white text. I also believe adding in more things to make it more alive and a lot of scripted sequences to spice it up as well.

It would be cool if we could just walk throught the airlock and enter sector b during the anomalous materials chapter.

Can you make the scientists way less of ♥♥♥♥♥?

Other than that I love the map and the inter actions with the gaurds because scientists are douches.

Maybe add a way to have a experiment go wrong if you press a button and cause aliens to appear. ( I know that its set a day before the incident in the Anomalous Materials lab ) Or getting locked up by guards if you hurt someone and get chased by forever spawning guards like in hazard course mod for black mesa.
