That was not even mentioned in the mod description. And this issue of compatibility with bionic arms and adjusting the layers is discussed in more detail on that thread.
Personally, I'd prefer if this mod allowed us to build two different kinds: (1) Toolbelts that fit on hands (the way it currently works) and (2) Toolvests that fit on the torso (preferably on the Shell layer, to leave room for wearing armor).
