Cataclysm strikes!
a code snippet you should add in your code;{new functionality, v9}
"armourType": "name_from_ArmourType_or_armours.json",
this adds armour stats to your modules for when you want a external thing but also armour stats, now i have not checked if they 'degrade' after getting shot, but you are welcome to use it.
also i allow you to use my code collection[dl.dropboxusercontent.com]
