Instructions:

Create your mod via the launcher. (do not upload it)
Unpack the files (gfx,interface,sound) and put them into your mod folder.

directory example:

user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/yourmodname/gfx
user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/yourmodname/interface
user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/yourmodname/sound

Important:

Make sure that the UI mod is BELOW the STNH main mod in the playset order.

Hey, I cant work out what folder to put these in, the one i thought isnt working. Could you help please? I would love to play this mod again and the UI is a huge part of it. Thanks

Did you create a new mod in the launcher already?
The structure should look like this...(my mod name in this case is "afederationui").

user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/afederationui/gfx
user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/afederationui/interface
user/documents/paradox/stelllaris/mod/afederationui/sound

Yeah for the life of me I don't know what i'm missing. Used the name above for simplicity and the directory structure is the same. Mod looks like the right size, underneath STNH but isn't present when I load the game.

I had the same problem at some point years ago, when the game just refused to load the mods.
Have you tried running only the UI mod?
Maybe also try restarting steam.

I hadn't, but just tried it. No joy. As much as i'd like to blame the system, its most likely something I missed. Any chance you'd consider positing the 3.3.4 variant?

Sorry but I'm not sure if i understand you correctly.
But I've posted the 3.3.4 version above. (only use this version if you have rolled back STELLARIS to the older 3.3.4 version.)

Yeah, thats what i'm using with the rollback. There really doesn't seem like much to it, but at some point it just isn't working even used as stand-alone.

No worries at this point I'll just wait for the core release.
