What is rope used for and is it worth getting the Hemp seeds for it?

Rope is for making hull parts, which are used for making ships, which is how you get whale blubber, which is the best source of lamp oil, which is used for making permanent mines and quarries that don't run out. You can also use it to make decorative stuff, and I think it's used in the construction of the tobacco curing sheds too.
