Unable to research ships of the line as Federation
So I'm at about 2220 in my latest game as the Federation and I've unlocked up to the TOS era of the ships of the line, but when I open up the Jupiter research station dialog window, the only rare techs I'm able to research are the NX era ships from the tradition (which I already have researched). Is my save just bugged or am I doing something wrong?

You need to unlock the associated Traditions tree, and then new Traditions unlock (to get new ships) as ages progress...

I did. Even after that the research option doesn't appear

You need to unlock the tradition for each ship type, and they then unlock with other techs... It's also possible you've already obsoleted the design, and may need to recommission it...

Okay I finally got the research option for the Farragut class in Jupiter station which was "unlocked" by the Discovery era tradition. It only appeared after I got Georgiou after 2220 so the unlock is based on a combo of the year and prerequisite techs.

ig I was just impatient lol
