Could you share how exactly your upgrade process goes? What do you do?
What number name for the Stellaris game are you using when this happens? That could amount to a LOT about this.
Once it has been constructed, a construction ship has the option to upgrade it. It does seem to go through the process, as you can click on the construction ship and see a completion %, once finished, there does not seem to be any visual changes to the stations values, if it was 6.9 k before it stays at 6.9k, however once this is finished the game starts to crash when trying to access the station info panel or the fleet manager.
This is also occurring with the Klingons.
Biggest problem for me is finding the places I *actually can* build them come to think of it.
I say all types because there's a further issue with building relay stations where the tag/UI icon on the system view won't appear to indicate a system actually possesses a completed relay station.
