Is Earth Supposed to be so resource-rich?

I've tried all the lore maps and found that Earth generates a load of resources from the get-go such as kemocite and trelium. Is this intended? Anyone else having this issue?

Count it as a blessing is what I'd say.
Romulus tends to have the same effects; so I think it is the nation's homeworld that almost by default has such resources.
