[Guide] Overhaul Compatibility
This has been a popular request on the main board. This is a guide for how to manually modify large overhaul mods such as Radious to feature larger unit sizes. Before you can begin, you must download the latest version of Pack File Manager (PFM)[www.twcenter.net]

Step 1.

Using PFM, select file --> Open, then locate and open your unit or overhaul mod of choice. Then proceed by locating its "main_units" and "land_units" tables. This is where the editing takes place.

Step 2.

Open the "land_units" table by selecting it. Find the column labelled "num_mounts". This column determines the amount of horses for mounted units, and must be identical to the number of men (Step 3). Using the quick find and replace tool (Ctrl + F), you can edit all entries with a specific value simultaneously, e.g. change the default 60 horses in num_mounts to 80. It's efficient, but be aware that you might also change values in other columns at the same time. Changes are highlighted in red. You can revert a change by dragging over any number of "cells" and right-clicking, selecting "Revert Cell(s) to Original Value".

Step 3.

Once finished adjusting the amount of horses in mounted units to your liking, we're going to move on to the other table, main_units. Under the "num_men" column, you can set the amount of men per unit. This is a straightforward process, and you can use the find and replace tool here as well. Make sure "num_mounts" and "num_men" values are matched up properly when editing cavalry units, or you might experience awkward results.
