When I put a custom v8 358 cid in my American Cars (and buy the fuel injection parts and stuff) it says "car is missing parts". The exhaust seems glitched because I can't swap any of the parts but when I buy a racing exhaust I can attach it after I purchase but I can't seem to unattach and re attach it as it isn't compatible or something

Do you have both Exhaust & Exhaust Manifold? The custom v8 358 engine can only support racing versions of both.

If yes & it still not working then are you running any other mods?

Silly me didn't have Additional Parts at the bottom of the load order. I didn't think it would make much difference but when I tried it it solved my issue lol. Thanks for the quick response though!

No problem, just remember that any new engine added into the game need to edit the files for Intake Manifold (unless they add a new one like I did for the engine you said) & Exhaust Manifold. Exhaust needed is based on its Exhaust Manifold.

Seeing that none of the AI sets work for me so far, nothing seems to appear on the track except my car.

AI sets from Additional Parts are currently broken due to using outdated preset. Gearbox might be broken as well as the engine name has changed between the 2 builds.

I'm in the process of updating/restarting everything but have other matters to attend to first.

Other than the AI sets & engine upgrades, everything else such as the brakes & transmission should work as intended.

when i go to enable the mod *with no other mods enabled* and then restart the game, the game crashes like 8 seconds in from when i launched it.

Intresting, I not sure what the problem is. Does it crash before you make it to the main menu or after?

How many other mods do you have enable before enabling mine alone?

none at all, as a matter of fact i just reinstalled wreckfest just to see if there was any problems and its still the same

The only bug that can cause that from my experience in the last build is the ai career file reaching over the limit. I talked about it a few times but if you start the game with too many enable the game would crash before the main menu. However, I not sure if this is the same problem you have.

No worries. If you have any problems let me know. While the mod is outdated & I'm in the process of updating it. A crash is a major which need to be sorted asap.
