Question regarding Crew (not about the UI display)
Do the effects of multiple crew modules stack?
Also what does the % multiply from? Is it the base modifiers or added afterwards to the already existing evasion%?


Basically to use an example a battlecruiser configuration: (Making an assumption that synthetic crews add 30% evasion.)

Basic Layout:
Defensive Combat Computer (Advanced): +20
Impulse Thrusters: +20
(Total = 40 points)
Battlecruiser: -50%
(Total = -50%)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
40 points x -50% = 20 points
20 points remain = Evasion 20%


Crystallis Example Layout:
Defensive Combat Computer (Advanced): +20
Impulse Thrusters: +20
(Total = 40 points)
Battlecruiser: -50%
6x Synthetic Crew: 30%x6 = +180%
(Total = +130%)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
40 points x 130% = 52 points
52 points remain = Evasion 52%?

Honestly I am not sure (haven't testing it that far). They do stack. I think it just takes base evasion (or other stat), then adds up all the multipliers, and then applies that multiplier on the base stat.

Edit; actually I think there are diminishing returns. I'll have to test. Like armor it should never reach 100% I think.

Looks like there are diminishing returns, but once you get up to around 360% (minus whichever hull type modifier) you can take on targets with much more firepower, but it will still get hit occasionally. Using a couple hull plates, an armor piece, and several regen plates you can greatly increase its lifespan and focus what little power is left over onto weapons. This lead me to some interesting, and expensive, ship designs that seemd to prove useful in a couple situations.

Good to know =).
though in a future update I plan (at least try) to make dedicated ship crew slots (like engines) and move the crew modules there. So no more stacking ;) I'll be able to get more creative with crew though once I figure that out

Seems pretty good. Luckily high dodge ships can easily be countered by your targeting computer modules. I play your mod closely in conjunction with this one: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683230077.

Hi nico, what language version are you running? Also are you by any chance running ethic tooltips mod or some other mod that modifies tooltips?
i'm running on french language

I don't see anything wrong in the localisation files. Are you using any other mods?

Any that change or do something with the UI? Could you try to disable all your mods except mine and test if it still has issues? Also are it all my techs/modules or one specific?

Hmm strange. Is this an old save game (from before 1.2) or a new game you started? (I'll be going to sleep soon so might reply tomorrow.)

Is it all new modules and/or techs? Also does it show something like C_module_I or tech_C_techname or nothing at all? Sorry for the many questions, trying to find out why it's happening and fix it for you
i got only name from ur mods and no description like C-Module_I but nothing other
