TX based server

The intention behind these mods and the server settings are to present an environment that provides comforts not found on Official servers while emphasizing interpersonal interactions. Specifically, Reasonable stacks sizes and decay timers with favorable build options and responsive administration. Hopefully these settings make you feel like PvP is more balanced because Dinos are less overpowered. Let us know through Twitter if this is not the case.

Rates:

• 2x EXP/Spoil
  
• 3x Tame
  
• 5x Harvest
  
• 3x Egg Lay interval
  Your kibble farm will require fewer dinos to produce the same volume of egg, I want you to be able to have a comfortably small or large base with little lag.
  
• 5x Egg Hatch/Mature/Mating
  Immature dinos you catch in the wild or raise yourself will mature much faster, but after mating you'll need to wait 5x as long to be able to produce another offspring from that pair.
  
• 10x Cuddle Interval
  This needs fine tuning, and I'm willing to listen to input from server users.
  
• 5x Crop growth rate
  
• Custom Harvest rates on Plant X, Black Pearls, and Sap
  Plant X seeds are rarer, but not rare enough that you won't find them, you probably just wont have a stockpile of them now. Sap and Black Pearls were increased to facilitate access to end game content and fishing.

Functional Settings:

• Crosshairs, Downloads, Map Locations, and 3rd Person views have all been disabled.
  
• Wild Dinos will be found up to LV60.
  
• Offline PVP Preventation enabled with a delay timer of 30 minutes.
  
• 24 Hour cycle focused on CST (UTC -6:00)
  Night falls at about 10 PM real time, it has a very ominous feel as the sun sets slowly over the land. There are 2 mods intended to ease the pressure of nights, one for electric light customization in your base and one to cast strong lights into the night.

• You may only have one primary and one secondary base (i.e. one that houses land dinosaurs and another that's a water pen). This is to prevent large tribes from claiming too much land.
  
• You can not, under any circumstances, put down foundations to claim land. If you plan on claiming land, use pillars. Your claim only lasts for 5 days - if you haven't built a base by then, the pillars will be removed.
  
• Do not engage in any form of griefing.
  
• Do not build on/around caves, Dead Island, or important resources such as rich metal nodes on mountains.

• Balance Evolved: This balance mod changes many things. You can find a full list of changes here[docs.google.com]. It's recommended that you take a look at the linked document before joining the server.
  
• Ark Bosses: This mod spawns untamable bosses in the game world, outside of their natural arenas. Their loot has been set to match their difficulty.
  
• Map Extension: Floating Island: With this mod, a floating island is added to the game that spawns Scorched Earth creatures and resources. It works very well in conjunction with Scorched Earth Tabula Rasa.
  
• Taming Sedative: This mod was incorporated to further reduce the time it takes to tame dinosaurs, while not entirely cheapening the experience like having higher rates would. Herbivore Prime Equivalent is another mod chosen to achieve that end.

1. Subscribe to every mod in this collection.
   
2. Launch ARK. Before attempting to join the server, allow your client to install the subscribed mods.
   
3. Join the server through your preferred method. Please keep in mind that it may take up to 15 minutes for you to load into the server because of the amount of mods chosen. If it looks like your client froze, don't panic and close ARK - it's in the process of loading.

Mod mismatch trouble? Unsubscribe from the listed mods and then resubscribe. Let them install before attempting to join the sever again.

Timing out? Keep trying to join - sometimes it can take a few tries.
