*Edit*
I can confirm that everything appears to work fine outside of the water, which is the result of a files contained in both mods.
The easiest way to fix the water issue would be:
1) Go to My documents/Paradox Intereactive/Eu4/mod
2) Create a copy of TheatrumOT (2 files, theatrumorbisterrarum.zip & theatrumorbisterrarum.mod)
3) open the new .mod file and change "archive="mod/theatrumorbisterrarum.zip"" to whatever you have named the new .zip file copy.
4) Change "name="Theatrum Orbis Terrarum (Carthoge Reloaded)"" to name="A Theatrum Orbis Terrarum comp patch" or whatever you like. The name you enter here is what will appear when choosing the mod in the Eu4 launcher, the only important thing is to make sure is begins with an "A". This causes it to take priority in the load order.
That should be it for now. I'll look into more user-friendly solutions for the long term.
*End of Edit*
I was under the impression that Theatrum Orbis Terrarum was compatible, but apparently I was mistaken if you're running into issues with inverted water colours. I'll try to look into it and see if we can't make a compatiblity patch/fix something on our end.
In the meantime, I can say that my original project, Beyond Typus has somewhat more attractive graphics (in my opinion) than vanilla, but more crucially I have tested it with Theatrum Orbis Terrarum and got it to work (does require a quick fix in the .mod file and downloading the Typus Orbis Terrarum-Theatrum Orbis Terrarum compatibility patch though... I'll write a tutorial when I get done typing this & post it in the BT forums, been meaning to do that anyway.) The downside to this option is it isn't truly the original BtP. I tried to copy the original BtP style as well as I could, but BT includes my own content as well, so if you're looking for the original, it might not be for you.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
We'll take a look at it and fix it as soon as possible.
Sorry, not sure why I didn't see this comment before!

QUOTE:
Poland ultimately gained control over Lviv and the adjacent region in 1349. From then on the population was subjected to attempts to both Polonize and Catholicize the population.
...
As part of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland Lviv (Polish: Lwów) became the capital of the Ruthenian Voivodeship founded in 1389. Before that happened, on 17 June 1356 King Casimir III the Great granted it Magdeburg rights. The city's prosperity during the following centuries is owed to the trade privileges granted to it by Casimir, Queen Jadwiga and the subsequent Polish monarchs.[11] Germans, Poles and Czechs formed the largest groups of newcomers. Most of the settlers were polonised by the end of the 15th century, and the city became a Polish island surrounded by Orthodox Ruthenian population.
