updates for the mod as you guys at FVR progress
Maybe a posting to say "Hey in a week we will do an update" as it can afffect leagues who may be racing that day that you update so the admins can be ready and prepare the drivers who are not PC or Steam savy to be ready and have the know how to step back to the previous version of the mod on their own if the server admins have not updated or don't want to do a last minute update to the server version ;) so people trying to do the final practice session and the admins are not continually trying to explain over vioce comms how to do it or go here for links everytime someone logs into the server for the first time with "Hey I got no cars list WTF ?" It gets old real fast. I know now as rF2 is now on Steam only, people will get better and I know you have to release updates as the update fixed a problem that needed fixing ;) maybe just a simple heads up even a few days before would be good, cheers. It may have been on the FVR forum but is there a way to post a thread here letting everyone know an update is coming ? As the physics have changed quite a lot between 6.1 and 6.2 as I just did a back to back test and they are a lot different.

Yes that's a good point and something we will consider if we go forward. The changes should more affect setup rather than actual but that could be because of the default setup. I only put this together, Feralarri did the physics changes and dBens1 did the mirror stuff.

1. small change to CoG
2. changes to undertray parameters to map more accurately the undertray
3. Fixed radiator blanking so that clicking + sign gives more blanking and downforce
4. Fixed brake blanking so that clicking + sign gives more blanking and downforce. Also made blanking in 10% increments
5. changed shock adjustments so any setting can be set in Hi speeed or lo speed.
6. reworked the suspension parametrs incl. changes to F and R Roll centres
7. Fixed steering so that 540 deg in game and 540 deg on your wheel gives approx 12.5 : 1 steering ratio
8. Chnages to Bump stop spring and damper rates.
9. added more range to shock adjustments
10. changes to tyre files to bring up to the latest specs form ISI
11. small change to rear braking torque and ideal braking temperatures
12. new default setup
13. small change to rearview mirror position, not physical but image related

Okay we have done that Vance. We're also uploading the files to mediafire for servers if you wish to test them.
