And for the most i am with you but not fully with that one.
Difficulty 7.5 from 10 from my point of view is way to small.
I just played it on expert realism with a well-known youtuber and i feel that this campaign is very hard. Especially with the horde-double tank scenarion in Chapter 3 and this very hard final walking a long way with hordes and specials until you reach the final.
During final you have very hard generator scenario with lots of commons / specials then tank then horde and then two tanks followed by a lot of specials at a station with very bad spots.
It maybe should be more like 9 of 10 ;)
You're quite welcome.
Difficulty can vary significantly from run to run, team to team, etc. And if your team wasn't running Sniper Rifles on this level, then I could definitely see it being more difficult than it was for us. The main thing that made it relatively easy for us was the long sightlines allowing us to easily pick off hordes, Specials, and Tanks from a distance on most Chapters, well before they got close to us. Though 7.5/10 on my rating scale still isn't a walk in the park. The Custom Maps that I rate higher than that are typically very, very difficult, if not imbalanced/rage-inducing at parts.
