Trap name: Phosgene Gas Drum
Trap function: After being damaged or operated 3 times it will release a cloud of toxic gas.
Describe trap appearance: Blueish oil drum.
Goal of trap: Deterrance and or kill. The trap would fill an area with a cloud of toxic gas, encouraging people to flee the area or avoid it.
Trap function:after triggered with a tripwire,it sprays a small amount of fire ahead of itself
Describe trap appearance:A pipe with a bottle on the upper side so the gasoline flows down into it(or anything that looks alike pretty much)Stick of wood(like the ones that appear when you break a box) near where the tripwire is connected,which is what starts the fire
Goal of trap:Deterrance or kill and alarm.Pretty much,it sets someone of fire,they either die,or extinguish themselves and run away,and their screaming of them being on fire alarms you that they're at your door.(Thinking realistically,thinking gmod,kill or alarm,since you can't extinguish yourself in gmod,and the gmod burning sound would alert you)
(Thought of this in about 5 minutes,so it's pretty horrible)
It'll take me awhile since i've got to do spray of flame from scratch.
-Trap function: Works like the tripwire grenade swep, but when the wire is stepped on there is a short delay before it cover the area around in WEAK explosives
-Describe trap appearance: I think the garrysmod dynamite would fit perfectly with this
-Goal of trap: To cause chaos or to distract an enemy
Another idea I had was:
-Trap name: Tripwire Flaregun
-Trap function: When wire is stepped on it shoots a flare high into the skybox
-Describe trap appearance: It would be cool if it was a roman candle firework attached to a wire, but if that's not possible any small cylinder would work.

Trap function: to set you use it and it will be opened, once ANYTHING steps or touches the center of the trap, it will close and snag it(if its a prop, it will be attached, if bigger, the trap wont hold it down)

if a player gets trapped, they will get damaged of an amount of 25 health, and will be stuck, but can get out bye holding the use key while looking at it for a certain amount of time.

mabye different versions of the trap, some weaker and easily escapable, some stronger and take a longer amount of time, but also doing more damage.

Goal of trap: to trap players or kill smaller creaters example a Head crab and bird might die to it,
but a player will only take an amount of damage only being killed if on low health(mabye have a way so it wont kill and will never pass one HP) and will trap the player or/and an NPC.

Trap function: to electricute any player's or NPC's that may cross it. It electricutes a set radius of which the player can set, the bigger the radius, the less damage UNLESS in water, which shall double the damage, and electricute double or more the the area of affect.
DEPENDING on the radius, it will at MOST have 2 charges, the less the radius the more.

Goal of trap: to kill players and/or NPCs and deter anyone who will fear this trap of the unkown that it could have more charges.

Trap function: When set off, a single Spike shall speed out and IMPALE who ever set it off.
-Would have to be paired with a Pressure Plate to activate.
-Multiple spike traps can be set near eachother to deal more damage or even kill.
-Due to its nature, it would be set up more like the Grenade trip wire in the weapons tab.
-(CAN BE SET OFF MORE THAN ONCE! once set off, will stay out for THREE seconds.)

Describe trap appearance: at first as it has not been set off yet, it shall look like a small tube coming out of the surface that it is set on(i guess a can for now if you want a place holder) once set off, a sharp spike shall SPEED out looking like a metal, well, spike.

Goal of trap: to majorly damage or even KILL the player or NPC that triggers it(IT CAN IMPALE THE PLAYER AND STICK THEM IN PLACE, just like the crossbow if you shot an npc or player when they are by a wall.)

Goal of trap: to deter or paranoi(forgot how to spell it sorry if i was wrong) the player into thinking that there could be more traps in the area, and may deter them from continuing ahead.

Trap function: made of scrap parts, certain electronics that make it work(including a sensor/camera), a gun and a limited amount of ammo, once triggered it shall shoot anything that ***MOVES*** Including Players, Npcs, props, and ragdolls, if nothing moves it shall search like a normal turret looking left to right(or in 360 degrees, but seems more expensive to have) until it finds something that moves...
-if it runs out of ammo before battery power(battery power doesnt need to be a feature) it will continue to search and shoot, but only clicks will be heard from the gun and is harmless untill deactivation or destroyed or refilled of ammo(SHOULD BE DEACTIVATED BEFORE REFILLING AS IT WILL SHOOT ANYTHING).
-can be repaired UNLESS fully destroyed.
-the darker it is, the less usefull it is.

Describe trap appearance: as it is made of scrap parts and scrap electronics, its base is a tire holding the parts and electronics that let it aim from left to right.
- Above the tire is the rest of the mechanism of scrap metal as slight armor, and the mechanisms used for aiming up and down, the gun, the sensor that searches and sends signals to the rest of the turret.

Things to Know about the Trap.
-*IS CONSIDERED A SMART TRAP AS IT SEARCHES FOR THINGS TO SHOOT!!!*
-the sensor on top would be a weakpoint, shoot that to stop it from fully noticing you, if you want to destroy the turret, shoot the tire base, as it houses most of what is important.
-if sensor only damaged/destroyed, then it can be repaired.

Trap function: a simple mechanism of which to set it you place an object in a little makeshift cage, that once a player picks up the weapon, entity(weapon, ammo, etc) or pick up the small prop with the use key, the opening shall close and trap the player in it, can be opened from the outside. once a small object of choice is set into the object holder, it shall be set.
