Likewise, I find myself leaning heavily towards democracy, though I make sure to go down one of the naval routes first.

I also like playing as non-aligned/KMT China, especially in 1939.

So far I also went for non-aligned China most of the time - and even when I went for a different ideology, I always kept the KMT in power. :P

i know this post was made a while ago but i usually only play as communist china and stay communist, as for playing normal china i like staying neutral

IMO if your goal is world domination then it makes the most sense to go down the facist line for the combat buffs. Sooner or later you're gonna want to go to war with the US, why democracy?
