Misc. Training

This should be more balanced
I love the idea of this mod, but right now I feel like it's a XP cheat, you just assign your colonist h24 to training work and get a level 20 in a few days

I think it would be better to link the training to recreation, so when the bar is full the colonist won't continue to train, so you can only get a certain amount of XP per day

OR, make the training increase fatigue by something like x500% ( not hunger, too easy to get food, it needs to be something that force you to spend time not training, like sleeping )
So if you want to spend all day training you can, but it always come at a cost and it's not a "XP cheat"

EDIT :

It's weird, when you let a colonist train by themself as a work, training doesn't increase recreation, but when you right click and select "practice shooting" it does increase recreation
BUT when recreation is full the colonist doesn't stop training like it would stop any other form of recreation when the bar is full

EDIT 2 : ok so it seem there is 3 type of training

- a training where it is a "work", this one works like any work depending on priorities and all, colonist won't gain any recreation and won't stop until they are tired or hungry ( that's pretty unbalanced since it allows unlimited training )

- one where you need to manually select a colonist and right click on the target and select "practice shooting", this one the colonist will gain recreation from it but will never stop until it get hungry or fall from fatigue ( still unbalanced, unlimited training )

- and one where the pawn will train as a recreation by themselves when they are in need of recreation, this one the colonist will stop when the recreation bar is full ( this one is the most balanced )

So if I need it to be more balanced, I just need to disable training in the work tab, and never manually order a colonist to train, then they would only train when they need recreation and stop when they have enough
The only problem is that I always have lots of other recreation source for my non combatant colonists so my combatants won't always go for training when in need of recreation

I actually agree with this. I was thinking of more on the lines of that training should be twice as long. At least two people required so one is preoccupied with tutoring the trainee. Also the trainee should not be able to go past a certain level if there is no other pawn is higher level than them, to tutor them of course. It feels more immersive. I hope the mod author takes combat exp it into consideration, and add more limitations so it doesnt feel like I'm just grinding exp
Ur using the mod wrong, just set it up and play the game normally and enjoy the few levels you get per quadrum.
