Copying abilities for new mod
Does anyone know of any good tutorials for building a custom class using the Perk Pack? I've been trying to teach myself for the past few days but I can't ever get them to show up or there's build errors I don't know how to solve.

It'd be a good way to learn modding while being able to play around with a mostly complete class fairly easily.

download a custom class in the workshop and look how they have done it.

Is there any class that takes some of the code but doesn't require the perk pack as a dependant?

I'm trying to make something standalone, which means I can't just reference the templates, I have to copy from the files which... I'm having trouble with because the perks seem heavily dependant on most other things in the mod, at least above my skill level.

You should just use it as a dependent. Its far easier. Just disable the classes from it, easy ini edit and the mod does nothing but give you the perks.

check out the jedi class mod its a good place to start
