you probably have two mods that are conflicting. its a known bug currently in game when two mods override the same class. pruning for the incompatible mod or uningstalling are your only two choices.

so uh... my PCS arent working even after the research is done, when I hover my mouse above the option it says I should scan at this site of interest with the Avenger XD anyone has a fix for dis?

It doesn't work. None of my mods are working, actually. I only have "longwar" mods enabled. I haven't bought any DLC.

Works great except for one issue: When promoting, the soldier to the right blocks the UI. That is, the UI appears behind the soldier, rendering it unreadable. So, can't actually see what all the awesome new perks are. :(

So baffling, I've successfully modified Long War for EU successfully, I've played XCOM 2 with multiple different mods, including the Leader mod, but I've never gotten the Toolbox to work and this mod isn't working either. Really a bummer.

That issue was one we fought with for a while, and I'm sorry to hear that it's still an issue. Can you provide more details about which mods you are running so I can investigate?

Can you provide any more details about how in particular the mods aren't working? We do run these through QA testing -- I run tests personally, we have some volunteer QA testers, and 2K QA runs through them as well, so we're not just "pushing them out". That said, we can't test for every possible situation, so there's going to be some glitches...

Hello there, I'm playing with Second Wave reborn and with Commanders Choice enabled. Strange things happen to the classes. I have only 2 ability lines for sharpshooter, ranger and specialist. My ranger starts with shotgun/sword like before and I have 2 grenadiers, first one having assault rifles and second one having MG's and BOTH of them have 3 skill trees. Are your classes added on top of existing ones with same names? Or they modify basic classes?

Just loaded on save before and rolled a sharpshooter without changing class afterwards. Now he has 3 skill trees. Please, tell me how I can choose YOUR classes with commanders choice? If they are standalone - can I just use mod to disable vanila classes? Or will it disable yours too?

Just in case - it had worked fine with other custom classes and I barely modified my mod list since than. Clean walkthrough ofc.

Now, that I have only your class mod, I have 4 vanila classes, spark, and your 3 new ones in the class selection list. 3 new classes operate normaly, only those vanila named bug.

To summirize my problem: If I get one of your modified vanila classes naturaly on promotion - it seems to work fine. When I try to pick it from the list with commanders choice - it bugs and picks old class/picks only part of changes. Three new classes work fine both ways.

Suspecting the extra slot mods or the no squad sight penalty mod as possible conflicts that cause the blocked UI during promotion. Will troubleshoot by deactivating and testing. Will report back if I find the conflict. Thank you for your attention! :)

Update: No luck disabling one mod at a time. Starting to think it's a conflict with dlc, since with this mod enabled, the Alien Rulers are bugged out (they just stand there and do nothing on Ruler Reaction, freezing all combat) and Shen's Last Gift mission freezes at random points.

Having the same issue as @SwagWeedEveryYear

The commander's choice repick seems to be the issue. When you repick to one of the four original classes, you do not get the updated 3 choices etc.

Same issue, in the screen after the mission when I try to promote a soldier, the other guys stand in front of the UI blocking the text.
I have to go to the armory to see what I click on.

The only mods I have are the long war laser, smg and perk packs.
Base game with no DLC.

I was playing with only the Long War mods installed, deleted both config folders, verified through steam, un-/re-subscribed to all Long War mods, can play through Gatecrasher, fails the minute the scene switch to loadout screen for the second mission triggers. Removing Long War Toobx resolves the issue, now playing with tons of other mods with no problem. Playing on OS X.

Currently on playthrough without commander's choice. Works fine, already have ~20 soldiers and all get right weapons/skill trees. Please, at least point finger at what might be causing this problem.

I don't know if it's this mod or LW Lasers, but after installing them both and starting a new game, I can't upgrade the Bolt Caster (in any variant). I can upgrade the Axe, and I haven't tried the Shadowkeeper, but the Upgrade Equipment button is greyed out when the BC is equipped. I get the Message 'Current Primary Weapon Cannot Be Upgraded'. When this happens, the mods Grimy makes that allow you to upgrade other things are inaccessible until I switch to another primary weapon.
