Same for me as well, even after only having Long War Perk Pack activated, I only have Shen's Last Gift DLC, could that be affecting the mod with the addition of SPARK?

Thanks

In the same boat as you Kyrvix

Did you start a new campaign?

"Adding this mod to an existing campaign will not change existing soldiers, and new soldiers will only sort into the new class trees."

This mod adds new classes, instead of editing the old ones. Your soldiers might be on the vanilla classes, hence no perks. If you don't want to start a new campaign you'd have to change their class using a console command

I had started a brand new campain. the first 4 guys came back as the normal classes, next mission used another squad of frest recruits and they also came back as the normal classes.
I am gonna guess that cause Shen's adds a new class, it not compatable with the mod?

Do you happen to have Commander's Choice from the Second Wave Reborn mod? I have the same issue as well and from looking on another forum it appears that if you choose one of the original classes (even though they should be modified) it chooses the vanilla versions.
none of my mods are working including my uniform mod. idk whats going on. i know its just a mod but i feel really cheated for some reason lol once you start modding a game its hard to go back to vanilla. wish i could find a fix. i was thinking of reinstalling everything and starting yet another new campaign. but i literally just started one this morning. put 3 hours into it, already feeling like i have to complete it.

Shen's is definitely fine, using it myself. Never used Commander's choice so that could be the issue for you, if you are using it. If you want you could try forcing a soldier into the new class by typing (MakeSoldierAClass "Soldier Name" LW_Shinobi) into the command console without paranthesis. Or LW_Ranger for the ranger class or LW_Grenadier for grenadier etc.

Delete your config folder in Mygames/xcom2/xcomgame. Once you do this and fire up xcom2 it should reset your mods and enable this mod. Any conflicting mods will have to be deleted.

I started a brand spanking new campaign, no shen. Have the long war modders had anything to say?

Thanks for this! I was wondering what the console commands for this were. If you happen to figure out the console commands for any of the other new stuff please let me know! You da man!

My mod list:
True Retroactive AWC
Shepard Voicepack
After Action - days wounded
long war perk pack
stop wasting my time
evac all.

So I don't really know what would be causing a conflict. Maybe retroactive AWC?

I've got RetroAWC and mine work fine. Maybe unsubbing from all mods, deleting the mod folder and then reinstalling all the mods?

My theory: last pach broke everything. Almos all my mods stop working including this one.

Hey guys try following this guide as well if you are still having problems, specifically step 2, as that cleared up issues I was having personally.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=625230005

Paraphrasing that post, basically any old mods you may have had and unsubscribed from may still have lingering edits in your config files, causing any number of random problems like perks not showing up.

Delete the whole config folder (Documents\My Games\XCOM 2\XComGame\Config), verify the game cache, start up XCOM 2 with your mods enabled.

Start a new campaign and level up your guys, they should have all the perks. Or, enter an existing campaign and use the console command I posted earlier to edit your guys to the new class.
