Wanted: Modders and Testers to join the team!
I am looking for some more talent to join the team!

Things have really started well, and there's so much upcoming content and positive feedback that its time to grow the team slightly to meet the demand.

If you have experience modding (especially Total War: Warhammer), and an interest in the mod, then post something in this discussion, or reach-out by sending me a friends request and a note about the mod and I'll connect with you.

Skill Needs:

1. Model/color/textures - Looking for someone who enjoys doing customization on the variantmeshes. Everything from mashups of models, to recolors and retextures.

2. Table editing - Looking for someone who is familiar with skill/ability/effects tables in Total War: Warhammer. The kinds of abilities and effects we make for the new lords can sometimes be quite ambitious, so an ability to work in both PFM and TWeak, and understand how to build skills with unique abilities or effects is strongly desired. I'd love to have someone I can bounce these ideas off of more technically.

3. Testers - Looking for multiple people to be involved in alpha testing on new units. We can discuss what it would entail to start playing with some of the unreleased lords and helping debug them. Experience working in Alphas/Betas, following testing protocols and such is helpful but not necessary.

I've an interest, time to spare, and experience in all 3 fields listed (albiet not with TW:WH).

I've done a fair amount of reskinning and some mix/mashing for Civilization 4 units, using Blender and several less-complicated programs. I've spent hours upon hours poking around inside of emulated Nintendo DS games, experimenting with tables of hexidecimal values and how changes to them affect the game.

Finally, I have some management / coordinatinon experience, as the solo director of a Pokemon Black/White overhaul that included writing, programming, artistic and auditory changes. The project eventually fell apart, but it left me with valuable experience and a half-finished product to be proud of.

Friend request sent; I'd be happy to answer any questions or be assigned to any position in the modding team.

I would like to set up as a tester of the mod/units/lords that you make. I will test any mod/things you tell me too, and I have alot of time on my hands, I will soon too, look into some modding for total war. if you find me intresting, hit me up, you know where I am :) - Michael

If youd like I can definitely test your mods for and if you have time maybe you can help me learn more about the tables and modeling as my table knowledge only extends as far as things I have interest in and my modeling is zero. I have to be home during the day and I spend most of that doing mod testing and balancing for my own collection anyway. So just send me a friend request if you think I can be of some use here.

I could be an alpha tester, im not all to familiar with the Total war modding but have been modding on other games, but personally id like to be the trial and error guy, at the moment i got no work at my hands so time isnt an issue persay. Also have a considerble amount of knowledge of the warhammer world if thats a criteria, as probadly seen on my quite active chatting on this page.

Hey here is an article that might help when you decide to cover the Beastmen.I'm posting this here, like you suggested http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Doombull as you read, you will notice that there are four additional types of Doombull, each with unique apperence and abilities based on their Chaos God of choice. I'm wondering how you will implement the doombull, by sticking with one model and giving him four possible skill trees that lock each other out( like the gorebull) or will you make four seperate versions of the Doombull, each dedicated to one of the four Chaos Gods?

@Gontex - Let me clarify. When I said post in this forum, I meant if you'd like to get involved in testing post in this discussion. Can I politely ask that you please keep the comments here related to any interest in joining the team or beta testing!

I'm really glad that you are excited about the upcoming Beastmen, they are getting very close to being released, and I really hope enjoy them!

When it comes to the character design, they are typically based on the most recent edition from Fantasy, as well as content from AoS, because this represents the closest to "tabletop canon", and the precedents they have made so far in converting to Total War: Warhammer. So in this case its 7th for Beastmen. So just like in 7th, there will be 1 Doombull. I personally don't find the wiki's to be very reliable sources, I prefer to go to the books themselves.

I would gladly help you as a tester, as I have a lot of time on my hands right now! Just tell me what to do. I have fairly limited experience with total war modding. (mostly just PFM table manipulations)

Ok, understandable, and I'm no modder, but I suppose I could help you test everything out, if you like. Just tell me what to do

Hi, I'm a big fan of mods and so far love your work. Right away I can only contribute to it as a tester, however I've always wondered how to make mods, after all I'm studying IT so I'm quite familiar with teaching myself new programming languages. Now until mid september I'm on holyday and have lots of time. Furthermore I'm a die-hard fan of the tabletop game, so I really want to see more of these fabulous (legendary) Lords out there :steamhappy:.
