Lore of Rimsenal : Yeonhwa Precision
Have you ever been curious why there are so many urbworld in the universe around us. The lives of urbworld dwellers are pure pain. The population has long exceeded its ecological capacity, and it is full of pollution and poverty. Violence takes place on a daily basis to occupy scarce resources compared to the population. It is hard to call this situation normal. If glitter worlds are the social and technical peak of mankind, why is there urbworlds exist? To know this, you have to turn your eyes to an elegant tacit planet. Shinshi is the home planet of Yeonhwa Precision, a huge interstellar corporation that has set foot on numerous planets.

Shinshi is a beautiful glitter world with shimmering skyscrapers those built with unique crystalline structure engineering rising up in the sky. Their delicately created urban landscape is in perfect harmony with the beautiful natural environment. Wealth and elegance flow through their cities like blood flows through human body. Their entire industrial capability is located in the ring-shaped orbital facility complex surrounding the planet. On the surface, the planet seems to have nothing to do with the universal characteristics of the urbworlds, such as pollution and reckless development. However, if you peel off some layers of Shinshi, the scenery of this shining planet will feel completely different.

In fact, even if you think about it a little bit, you will notice that the existence of Yeonhwa Precision itself is abnormal. Interstellar trade takes decades even for the nearest planets. It is hard to belive that the entire planet, not just an interstellar enterprise, relies on interstellar trades for living. However, Yeonhwa Precision exists, and prosper. This means that Yeonhwa Precision has the means to control the numerous variables from interstellar trades. This is the result from Yeonhwa Precision's customer management technique. Every company needs customers and the main customer of Yeonhwa Precision is the urbworlds.

Urbworlds, the main customers of Yeonhwa Precision, are in a very stable state apart from the suffering of their residents. Most of their resources are consumed to support the overcrowded population, and demands for development and improvement are ignored in the name of the priority. The desire to survive acts like an anchor that prevents both regression and progress. Under these circumstances, corruption of ruling class is naturally common, and they are also the main customers of Yeonhwa Precision. They have the strength and will to squeeze the planet's inhabitants as much as they want for the cutting-edge clutters and luxuries that Yeonhwa Precision offers. This structure enables stable interstellar trades of Yeonhwa Precision.

But that alone cannot put Yeonhwa Precision on charge. No matter how much wealth the Yeonhwa Precision rakes from the urbworlds, it isn't the Yeonhwa Precision who made the urbworlds.

Or is it?

If you look at the planet rating table of the star chart around Shinshi, you can see that the proportion of urbworlds around this beautiful planet is interestingly high. And many other surrounding planets are also show typical characteristics of a planet changing into a urbworld. If you connect these planets in a line, Shinshi is at the center of them like a spider lurking in the middle of a net. And you'll notice the fact that it is not the surrounding urbworlds ensure the existence of Yeonhwa Precision, but Yeonhwa Precision created those urbworlds for its survival.

While Yeonhwa Precision employees avoid commenting, there are rumors that there are groups of elite soldiers equipped with unique equipment of Yeonhwa Precision on rimworlds and underdeveloped planets throughout the galaxy. What these elite soldiers, dubbed "aggressive marketing departments" according to Shinshian's twisted sense of humor, execute the insidious plots of the corporation to twist the planets' political landscape and society into the form in which is easy to exploit. Shinshi doesn't want glitter worlds around her. The existence of high-tech civilizations with their own interstellar travel capabilities is nothing more than the emergence of competitors to Yeonhwa Precision. What she wants is a processed urbworld that is stable and easy to exploit.

To make this, the soldiers of Shinshi don't hesitate to take any terrible means. Threats and intimidations are nothing but basic procedures, kidnapping and assassination are just daily routine. Their equipment is designed for rapid infiltration and exfiltration, and for do as much damage as possible in a minimal time. Under the direction of the AI Core, which monitors the entire planet's population from orbit, these soldiers engrave the future social structure of the planet like crystalline chisel and hammer, turning it into a sustainable exploitation target as Shinshi wants. The beautiful crystal skyscrapers of Shinshi were founded on the pile of bones of the innocent who were in the way of Yeonhwa Precision. In the crystal vines of Yeonhwa Precision, red blood flows instead of sap.
