Would it be possible to see secondary color customisation options later down the line?
Stenchfury  [udvikler] 24. juli 2016 kl. 9:51
Secondary color is something i'm working on ( meaning aside from the pattern customization, wich uses that already). I had to cut it out of the first release 'cause it was taking too long already; but it's gonna be in when possible.

Y'know, tier 2 doesn't get a lot of love, whether officially or by mods. Think you could do a few "lore friendly" tier 2 armors?
Stenchfury  [udvikler] 24. juli 2016 kl. 11:29
By "lore friendly" you just mean aesthetically? if that's the case, the second set of armor i'm still designing atm, it's meant to be more tactical; and will probably suit better the Tier 2 :)

Building on top of the secondary color thing, seeing other glowing colors would be dope. Personnaly seeing that armor with glowing green would be nice. but i gotta say fantastic work dude i love these kind of armor sets

So I had a look at your portfolio and saw this Warframe-looking armor, the ones with the ice shards sticking out of the arms and legs. Don't suppose it'd be possible to get XCOMized versions, eg for the serpent suit? It'd fit the ice aesthetic.

@RacingM3GTR: wait, isn't that the concept that i used for this armor? it wasn't quite working for warframe; oh wait you mean the other one with the monstrous face?
Stenchfury  [udvikler] 24. juli 2016 kl. 12:11
@TrueSight: i'm gonna work on that customizable emissive color thing; i'm in contact with some coder, maybe i can manage a little exchange of favors ;)

Fantastic mod! Thanks so much for making it. Would it be possible to add a neck covering to the lower face pieces of your helmets mod, or to the torso pieces of this mod (or both)? The mod "Jsleezy's Repurposed Gear" has a neck protector as a lower face prop option, and it just puts a covering over the soldier's neck, and I'm thinking something like that would go well with your mods. I can put in a screenshot if it would help. The reason I ask is that it's kind of jarring to see a sturdy, futuristic helmet on the soldier's head, but then have their neck exposed and see their skin. Just looks a little strange.

@biddar; that's true, i agree with you; sadly I tried raising the collar, but it ended up clipping trough the baclava and stuff that surround the neck at "skin level"; i found a middle measure where it clips less; and now with the newer helmets i'm trying to improve the model so that it cover also the neck.

Another thing you can try (what i usually do) is using a tattoo to cover the exposed skin; there's a couple of mods out there that adds tattoos on the neck for that reason.

Actually i could probably make some to complement this mod :P
biddar 24. juli 2016 kl. 12:58
Thanks for the tip about using a tattoo to cover the exposed skin, I just went and checked my game and realized that I have a mod (don't know which) which has a "Collar" face paint which does just that. Also, I don't know much about how the modding community works, but I'd be willing to bet at least some of the other modders who work on soldier customization would be willing to lend a hand if you're having issues with neck stuff.

Thanks again for these mods. I can't wait to see what you'll do next with them!
Stenchfury  [udvikler] 24. juli 2016 kl. 13:01
@biddar: mostly the problem with the collar is; i have to design one that's big enough to cover any "baclava" but not too big to pop out of helmets that has a neck cover already; with this one i just kept a middle measure; i'll explore other solutions with the next armor sets :)

If/when you design the EXO/WAR Suit equivalents, could you not have the armatures, instead making it a little bulkier? Also, if you could put your spin on SPARK and Alien Hunter armors, that'd be awesome.
Stenchfury  [udvikler] 24. juli 2016 kl. 13:25
@Gantros: What do you mean with "could you not have the armatures"? Making them bulkier, sure! i'm surelygonna make some big ass ones :) SPARK yeah, but might take a while; need to release a few sets first. Don't know about Alien Hunter armors; but i'll check how those works.
Gantros 24. juli 2016 kl. 14:03
Just having the option to change the Alien Hunter armors to something else would be awesome, as for armatures, on vanilla EXO/WAR suits, the have those robot arms/legs that attach to your soldiers, so if you wouldn't include those in your designs, or at least have the option to disable them, that'd be great.
