I know of an old error (that was fixed) in Starbound where it was trying to interact with a chest just when you get out of the interact distance, but I don't know if this is something similar.

You say it happens when you open the chest. Are you just standing next to chest and opening it and that message pops up?

I want to see if I can reproduce the error.

yes, it only happens intermittently unfortunately.

Haven't been able to reproduce it. It seems it is not related to mods.

Causes the game to crash if uninstalled and also creates a interface error when trying to open game containers.

Message says:
Exception caught in client main-loop (WidgetParserException) Failed to find callback named: keepContent

this happens whever I try to open a container on any world or in the Story start mission (the one where the tenticles attack)

it doesn't happen when I try to open anything on the player ship

There should be no issues uninstalling, the errors are most likely due to a different reason.

I can answer the issue with keepContent. That's something that happens when you attempt to use Improved Containers and Enhanced Storage at the same time.

Next time, please start a new thread if it is a different issue than OP.

when I uninstall this mod and restart the game it crashes upon opening. I spent 6-8hrs looking into mod conflictions and other reasons and this was the only mod causing issues

Yes i have been using both Improved Containers and Enhanced Storage at the same time. but i also have the Enhanced Storage w/ Improved Containers compadibility. and it worked perfectly fine until the most recent Starbound update

If you post a log I could probably tell you why.

You should never have installed both at the same time.
