Improved Containers Game Crash [Aug 8]
For me, I started up the game, opened up my storage unit, and then it froze and crashed. One of my friends unsubscribed and the game worked fine after, but all of her items went everywhere. Hopefully this mod works soon

Uninstall any compatibility mods that adds IC functionality to other mods.

Those mods must be updated by their authors as I moved scripts.

Well, it looks like hours and hours of accumulating various resources has been wiped. Yes, I have Larger Containers also subscribed, but had no idea of the change that suddenly landed. So that md doesn't work and my stuff is gone from the ship's locker.

I'm new to using mods and figure the lesson learned is to stay away from them.

There's 3 backups in your starbound folder unless you restart the game 3 times. Use them to your advantage.

There's also /spawnitem if you can't get it back.

Please post a starbound.log file if you encounter any errors or crashes. I can't debug without them.
starbound.log is the latest, starbound.log1 is second lastest, starbound.log2 is third and so on.
Include all if you are unsure which one contains the errors.

Uninstall "Larger Lockers Improved" until Tripod has had a chance to update it.

Just checking in; what is IC functionality? Going to update my dedicated server and all my players have pointed me here.

Hi; Thanks for your reply and direction. Unfortunately, in the vain hope that the other mods had been updated and would render my game back to its former state, I tried more than three times to restart the game and saved it as I exited. I see the backups under the storage folder and they all are dated late last night.

I'm not familiar enough with all of this to take it any further. I also don't know how to use something like /spawnitem.

I'll just move on to other games that I have, and maybe come back at another time if I feel like starting over in the collection process. The good news is that my progress and stuff in my inventory is still there.

All in all, disappointing, but thanks again for your response.

/spawnitem is really quite simple to use. in chat on your single player you need to activate admin by typing /admin and hitting enter, then you can recreate all the items you want back.

Syntax:
/spawnitem <itemName> <quantity>

so if I wanted to spawn a stack of durasteel ore I lost, i'd do:
/spawnitem durasteelore 1000
and it would spawn 1000 durasteel ore where my cursor is.

The starbound wiki has all the game's items (with their itemName on the bottom of the page)
http://starbounder.org/Starbound_Wiki

Also, hindsight is 20/20, but I'd recommend when you come back to set up a backup scheme. It has been immensely helpful for me while I'm building mods and don't want to end up in a bad state.

It's right there on the mod page.
Please start a new thread next time instead of hijacking a crash report.

It's just an admin command, /spawnitem lets you spawn in items. Pretty easy to get any items you may have lost back.

OK, thanks for the guidance. I had never understood where you placed the /admin command. That chat window only stays in place about five seconds and then disappears. There must be a way to call it back, I suppose, but I always play solo and have never investigated.

I tried recovering 10 denisium via the spawnitem command and it appears to have worked. But, I neglected your comment that it will appear where your cursor is placed. So, some new blocks appear now underneath my ship.

I'll try again.
