Bugs and Issues with 1.0
Known issues:
  • If you're using the Facial Stuff, Psychology or Gradient Hair mods, you may notice that the customization button that each of those mods adds to the Prepare Carefully user interface has disappeared. I cannot fix this. It needs to be updated by its respective author. See the note about this on the main Prepare Carefully workshop page for more info and a possible workaround.

Yes I run both of those mods. I have had no issues until yesterday. Thinking it might be a mod that updated in the last day.

Confirmed this. Deactivated everything except core and prepare carefully equipment screen loads. Now the problem is finding the mod causing the issue, over 100 mods to go through
I've managed to reproduce the same bug without Android Tiers++ installed, now I'm just confused.

Was able to re-activate Android tiers with out issue. Haven't reactivated the other mods that adds items back in yet to see if they cause an issue. Messed around with it for over 4 hours, got it to work stopped so i could play.

after looking around and deactivating and reactiving mods i figured out the mod called zombiefied was somehow someway interrupting with prepare carefully startup.

Hey I'm having this problem where i get no compat issues or anything, and even tried running the game with this mod only and what i get is an insane lag when i enter the prepare carefully phase (no custom scenarios or anything, just crashlanded survivors) untill the game just freezes indefinitely unless i keep clicking for the to crash (that's the only way to exit that i've found so far)
I'm having an issue that some others in the comment section have reported - when changing the head of a human pawn in the prepare carefully menu, their body disappears...
Just me? don't know or really care but when i load a group all their ages are set the same press the I and go into, BIO then hover the mouse over the Age, when i get a newly added person its Random but if i was to save them then load it would be like the 1st of aprimay and so will the loaded crew but its quite funny watching 30 people enjoy their own Birth day on the same day
Hey, I'm sorry but I don't know if this is an EdB problem, but I assume so. During the character customization screen, I can no longer see their hats. During the actual gameplay it's fine so it's no deal breaker or anything, but it is a bit annoying. I'm sorry if this isn't an EdB problem

Working Load Order Update

I've found that the Prepare Carefully Button DOES show up if I am careful with the load order.

Core
... (anything pre-libs here, in my current test setup this is Startup Impact and SRTS Expanded)

EdB Prepare Carefully

Something in the rest of the list, probably one of the menu mods the streamer I watch play this has added, seems to mess up the button.


EDIT:

I've also completed a two hour-long "manual bisection" process (moving the load point of EdB Prepare Carefully to the middle of the range that works/doesn't work to shrink the area of the problem domain to one mod).

Among the mods in the list I was working with, THIS is the mod that was guilty of breaking EdB Prepare Carefully (and after removing it Prepare Carefully could be loaded last).
