Medieval Play-through Fix
It seems quite a few people are having this issue with this mod and a previous comment addressed it but is now hidden behind pages of new comments, so I decided to move that message here since people are still asking.

"For the peeps using the Medieval Times mod and who therefore can't reach the Industrial Age, here is a quick (and dirty) fix :
1. Open your *\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\735241897\Defs\ResearchProjectDefs\ResearchProjects.xml
2. Replace "<techLevel>Industrial</techLevel>" with "<techLevel>Medieval</techLevel>"
3. Replace "<li>Electricity</li>" under prerequisites with "<li>Smithing</li>".
4. Profit. :D

Be warned that the "Mending" box in the research tree might overlap other boxes."

In my testing, if you use this dirty fix, you might have issues with being able to craft mending kits as they don't appear as a bill in either the crafting spot or in the mending table so you might have to spawn them in with development mode. Alternatively you could go through the mods files listed above (specifically "Defs\ThingDefs\BuildingProduction.xml" and replace the fuel requirement "MendingKit" with whatever you feel fit.

Thanks, both of you. I was planning to dig through files myself, and you've all saved me a bunch of time (since i have no clue what I'm doing and basically have to "Ctrl F" and pray i got a key word right.) XD
