Not a bug but compatibility problem: Incompatible with Fixed vassal opinions mod. Prevents it from working.

As of the last update, they should be compatible. No vanilla files have been changed by my mod.

Just to make sure, I looked at the files of Fixed Vassal Opinions. I don't touch in anything this mod uses, they should be compatible.


Do you use any other mods?

I do but none of them affects vassals or opinions in any way because they are mostly cosmetic. I modified 00_opinion_modifiers document to check if Fixed Vassal Opinions is the problem but apparently its something else because i changed opinion_relative_power to + instead of - and i disabled Fixed Vassal Opinions. After i loaded up my save my vassals still have about -3000 relative power of subjects. Before subscribing to this mod it was about +800-900. No idea why this happened maybe something broke my save. I changed default subject opinion to 5000 as a workaround so i'm good for now. I ll write here when i start a new game and vassalize someone.

The mod used to overwrite the 00_opinion_modifiers file. That's not the case anymore, though.

Some people had problems trying to update mods because of the last update (1.2.3). Paradox changed the way mods are referenced.

Try this: go to your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod folder and see if there's the files "736632183.mod" and "ugc_736632183.mod". If that's the case, delete the file "736632183.mod", but keep the one if "ugc_".

What's the version of your game? 1.2.1 or 1.2.3?

Then everything is allright, the way mods are referenced were only changed on 1.2.3. In this case, I have no idea what's going on. :v

Hi there. I activated the Diplomatic Missions edict in the Government tab and got the notification the diplomats were getting ready and it should take a week, after a week passes a second notification pops up saying the specialized corvette was built and I should send it to someone but no ship appears. I checked in all my fleets and spaceports but I can't find it. I also tried loading an earlier save, deleting all my ships then activating the edict but still no ship.

There is also no option to make the ship either but I suspect that's intentional as it's supposed to be a unique ship?

A new Fleet containing The ship, called Diplomatic Fleet, should have been created after the second notification. Can you send me your save, só I can see what's happening?

Oh heh, I just got back and was just about to send you the saves. So, just update the mod and it should be good?

And it's no trouble, I'm a chronic saver so I have lots of back up save states XD

I'll give it a test and let you know.


Edit: I just tried it and I am confirming that the diplomatic fleet did show up. Thank you very much! ^_^
