I really love the pieces for the tree platforms, And this is by far my favorite mod for them. but there are a few issues I have noticed...
(I specify wooden because I haven't played with the others)

-Things sometimes lock in place in slightly odd angles casing me to bug out and float slowly across it till I get unstuck

-I can't just use the inner floor pieces to create a bottom platform from scratch. This might not actually be a bug but it would be a cool feature to be able to do.

-The platform is a little weird about placing normal structures on it, sometimes it makes me take them to the edge, or wont let me place them at all)

Suggestions:
Doors that can fit into the doorways
Dino-sized doors that can fit into the pre-sized walls
Trap-door floor pieces
stairs or ladders for the extension pieces
fences that can lock into the wall lock points.
