Starbound

Melee Weapon Types (Longswords and more) now findable!

Probable reason for too many long swords, rapiers and lances.
I was looking into changing it myself, and I noticed something, cause I do notice that a lot of my weapons from your mod are elemental in nature. far more elemental swords than standard nonelemental types.

When I was going into your treasure pools and was checking against the wiki what could be an acceptable number I noticed that all the common melees are alright, as they're all 1.0.
But when I got to rare and uncommon all your numbers were still 1.0, when for some wierd reason they made all their rare and melee weapons have an equal weight of 0.007 which added up to a total weight of 0.042, but still the same percentages, but cause your stuff was 1.0, they probably had some massive percentage skew cause now the total weight would end up being like 1.042... which explains why I've got nearly all my melee elemental weapons as rapiers, long swords and lances, but still get other non elemental common weapons normally.

So, I uh, fixed that for myself, but I'd think you'd probably want to tweak that personally and upload it once you're good for everyone else. :V

Heyo,
I would like to download the mod, but not while it's bugged.

@Darkmega
Can you confirm that your fix works?

If so, would you be so kind to upload it somewhere, as the author of the mod is probably busy with other stuff, and didn't seem to fix this very serious issue.

I never continued to play long enough to figure it out to confirm. I just figured that was the issue cause that was the inconsistency I saw when snooping the code with my limited knowledge. But I did notice a change in the gear I was getting on a new run before I stopped, but wasn't sure if it was just luck or the change. I could send it through and you could manually install it at some point if you wish. the only difference in it is those values in the drop rate that I noticed.

Thank you very much, but I do not wish to invest like ~an hour to learn the basics of modding and do tests to fix this mod. I appreciate the offer though.
