The HUD can get pretty crowded with all the mods trying to add stuff to the HUD permanently (like hunger).

Would be nice to have a few select places (sitting right above the HUD left and right, maybe center top, top-right and top-left) that mods can add lines to.

Similar to HUD notifications from the center screen.

That will allow multiple mods to have various status messages there without overlapping each-other.

Getting the text size (X,Y) and the text of these would also be very useful in attaching other more complicated graphics (like build info :P) without overlap.
