Major Bugs (6/21/18)
WARNING: This mod is not compatible with every mod and may cause the "grey screen" bug in heavily medium-highly modded games. Also, things may be unintentionally destoryed when placing led rope/wall lights.

After a bit of searching, I found this mod to be the "Grey screen bug" culprit. The grey screen bug means whenever loading a save, your screen is all grey (the ui menus are fine, but no other graphics are generated) and the game is unplayably slow. You must close game to fix it each time you want to reload a save. The author states that they fixed this issue in prior updates, but it seems to still be there.

The second big issue, is that when placing LED lights flush against a wall, any items within that tile could be deconstructed or destoryed. Ex: I created an art room and lined my best art along the wall. I then chose to put some leds behind it, after 20+ minutes, I realized that all my priceless art was deconstructed when those lights were constructed. It doesn't happen to everything, but my stoves, butcher tables, and art were all destroyed by trying to place leds with this mod.

The science behind the grey screen bug (with this mod particularly) is that when reloaded an autosave, the console spits errors at around 200/second which bogs down the game so much that it can't load graphics.
It seems to be caused on games that have a lot of items from this mod active. In my case, I had 40 UV hydroponics labs set up to survive my ice sheet. Thinking back it wasnt until when I had about 15-20 hydroponics built that my screen would be greyed out upon reload.

This is getting to be a long post... I love this mod's uv hydroponics (which is the sole reason I subscribed) however, I should be able to trust that a mod works if the author doesn't provide any warnings about potential problems. Please either look into these two major issues, or temporarily label your mod as outdated for the benefit of others.

hi do you still have problems? I am sorry about the troubles that you experienced. I can only make my mods as best as the documentation that the original game gives me. Which is nothing actually. All docs are made by other modders and we really hacked the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game... so there are no guarantees I am afriad. This mode in particular hooks into the light grid which as far as i know no other mod does it

The grey screen may be caused by some log files maybe causing a massive lag. Sorry. Please let me know more info

I am not really aware of this deconstruct problem

please tell me how to repodruce step by step - i can try and fix it!

Just got this "grey screen bug". It spits out hundreds of the same error

I have encountered a similar/the same bug with the "Mining Helmet" mod too, but its not active in this save so it can't be the culprit

EDIT: I should add that restarting the game rectified the problem

OK thanks. That shows me where the problem is.. but can you tell me how to recreate it?

The problem isthe logs are getting spammed with NULL reference exceptions. This is probably something to do with the new way maps are managed but I need to know how you got to this problem as it seems very rare occasion.

When you say rectified the problem.. do you mean like you did the same thing and there was no grey screen?

Only thing I can try and do is prevent the logs from getting spammed and will stop grey screens but not sure how that will affect gameplay
