Configuration Options
All options are floats

For "Emission Strength" the following options are valid:
Any negative value will turn off dino emissive effects completely.
Any positive value with alter the emissive strength. (e.g. a value of 0.25 will yield an emissive strength that is only 25% of the default. A value of 1 will yield the default strength.)

For module stat modifiers:
Any non zero value will overwrite the default stat modifer.

Nice work ZR, looking awesome! Not had a chance to test it out yet but I will soon as I can^^

A quick query about configs before I do though, if I may? In the old mod I used these config settings on the melee saddle:

[UtilitySaddlesModifers] MeleePrimitive=2.0 MeleeRamshackle=4.0 MeleeApprentice=6.0 MeleeJourneyman=8.0 MeleeMastercraft=10.0 MeleeAscendant=12.0

I'm just wondering, is the melee boost between the two mods equivelant to each other, or is this stronger/weaker than the old one? In other words, should I just copy those saddles numbers right across to the new fields, or will I need to adjust them for balance sakes?

Any assistance would be much appreciated, thanks ;)

You will want to adjust them.

Speed and melee now multiply like the other stats (I gave in)

Ah okay, thanks for the reply. I'll leave them at default to start with then, and see what my friends think of them like that. Then we'll tweak as we play to adjust them to our taste. Tyvm^^
Balthasar☆ 5. nov. 2016 kl. 12:41
To start adjusting them, what are the defaults you've set them at ?

I just installed the mod on our server and I like it.
But It's way to easy to get everything. Only hard thing to get are the artifacts... and no they arent really hard to get.

Id like to change settings for amount of recources needed. Like way more metal, pearls, organic polymer, etc etc. Id like to increase the amount needed the higher the upgrade and modules are.

How do I do this? Is it possible?

Thanks :)

So there is a built in INI option to ark now for overriding crafting costs of engrams. unfortunately I don't think it works with the items IN the antinode fabicator, though I believe you could override the antinode fabricators costs itself.

Ark server manager has the crafting override in its UI if you need to take a look at it.
This might have simply been part of the tradeoff of going away from 60 engrams that have to be learned to being just one.

I could be wrong though. maybe the override will work, and I just couldn't figure out how to make it work.

However. I am actually going to be playing the game again for like the first time in a year finally. so as I am playing if it feels like everything is too cheap for what I had intended it will be getting rebalanced on the cost

EDIT: Better plan. I will try to work in a config setting for this to go into the next update hopefully

That would be really great. Hope it works out with the config. Helps for server owners a lot to adjust their own difficulty.

That's because those are the default values, you won't see any changes if you put them in as is displayed in the original post you need to change the number on the right hand side of the = sign for any changes to be observed

By neutral, I assume you mean 0?
From the original post:

"For module stat modifiers:
Any non zero value will overwrite the default stat modifer."

Can't use zero, because the lack of a setting in the config is a 0 to the game so I have to invalidate zero as an option. make it like 0.01 instead

aaaaaaaa thank you very much i go try this!
