My friend found a bug, if you put an antinode into a dino and activate it and afterwards cryopod the dino, the dino will keep the stats from the antinode and the antinode item will disappear.

Anyone found a fix for Antinodes being unable to be transferred back to inventory from Dino after being unequipped? Opening and closing the inventory doesn't help in this case.

@rjwaters yeah i have lost many antinode because of this, only thing i have been able to do to stop it is to make sure u unequip the antinode before you pod the dino. Probably not the help your looking for but until the dev changes it, if they do, (mod hasn't been updated since 2017) this is the only thing u can do. :(

@Zera_Fox My bad I wasn't thinking properly at the time. I was so used to blocking things that were a problem for mods that, it became my main solution. Its a no win scenario if facing a Antinode equipped Giga unless of course you managed to bring it to the water to drown and any other tactics to fight Gigas.

is there any way to keep antinodes from vanishing when podding one with them equiped?? I keep forgetting to remove them and keep losing them. Maybe block them from podding if dino has one on, idk. Also they glitch out if you have auto pulling enabled from the AA mod. I hope there is some kind of work around with the pods at least tho.

I have noticed two bugs lately one is if you log out while making a antinode it disappear and the second being that when dying to and alpha it will disappear.

Unfortunately, I think I only put on a control for disabling the visualizations for specific creatures. I might be able to add one for disabling the antinodes entirely as well though

It's been a while since I've played ARK, let alone used this mod.
I forget, but is there a way to list creatures that Antinode cannot be used on, at all?

Say I want to prevent Gigas from being able to use Antinodes for example.

Hey, my dino dead, I cant get the antinode from its dead body. And in the loot "backpack" neither.
It is not shown in the loot pack.

This mod is fantastic. really helps adjust/tweak stats to make more dinos versatile and useful so its not always using the "meta". hopefully you get more time to work on this in the future as unlikely as it may be!

Technically the mod is forward compatable so it should continue to work with extinction when it releases (The buff effects at least will), only think might be that some creatures might require the visuals to be disabled.

Also, do you plan on updating this mod for Aberration and upcoming Extinction? I mean the mod still functions with Aberration dinos, it's just a little wonky :P

That one may have been a bit misnamed. I think you are going to want to give it a smaller number to speed it up. I probably should have named it "Attachment Time Multiplier"

Not sure my configuration edits worked. Changed the attachment speed multiplier to 5, but nothing's changed. Seems to actually be going slower

Sorry about the delayed response.
It's been some time since I have been able to look into the material effect. The games materials have gone through some changes since this mod was made. Luckily the visual effect can be disabled on a per creature basis by tag.

There is also a global modifer for the ini to decrease/increase the attachment time for modules, you can find those in the configuration options discussion thread.

Also, is there a config setting to shorten the time of how long it takes to attach a module to an antinode? I play on SP and in a world where everything can be spawned in almost instantly, It takes several minutes for those things to attach together :P

The visual effect doesn't seem to work on any of the lantern pets
Well... At least not the "tek" look
Oddly enough, depending on which module you use it seems to change their colors when equipped. Just no "tek overlay"

Also, to some aberration creatures (take the aberrant otter, for example) it visually almost looks like it's "glitching out" between the look it already had and the look aninode tries to make it look like. It also has the tek overlay, but it's almost like it glitches between "skins"

they probably don't have a compatible material type for the mod to recognize. it would probably look terrible on the tek creatures anyways as it currently is

And I was trying to load a game that I've been playing on (has alot of mods) and it qould lock up for ~20 mins and eventually spit out a very big and very complex crash log and hard close somtimes even killing steam. I'm gonna try and load it without automated ark cause...tbh I didnt think of that

Mod works, however bugs out when used in conjunction with Automated Ark's OCD pulling system. We've also found that the nodes become useless once removed from a dino, as you can't do anything besides drop them afterward - you're unable to move them into another inventory.

I am doing a fresh install of the mod for my new server and when it tries to download it says this:

It's doing this for one other mod as well. Any ideas what might be happening and how to fix it?

with the weight module(journeyman) on a diplo once it reaches its original weight value, it will not load the creature any further even though it shows its still got weight to go and the creature will be burdened to the point of severely reduced speed.

RE: The post a few pages back about the argie TLC and this mod -

It has bugged it a little, but not too much. Seems that once activated, the antinode module slips into one of the smithy saddle folders, it doesn't disappear completely. So if you access that folder you should be able to turn it off there, then if you close the argie's inventory and open it again the node will be back in the main inventory as before.

It's a bit of a glitch, but it's not too big a deal to work around until ZR gets to fix it :)

true this mod is old it predates that change in artefacts. I might revisit the impact of that change in the future; however rebalancing this mod will be time consuming now that the gating factor that I depended on is gone. I would not expect changes to that extent anytime soon.

artifacts no longer disappear when you collect from them. so not really anything to compete for lol. and alot of servers tend to use this mod on pve servers.

if you are the only one on the map, or playing singleplayer, sure. if you have multiple tribes competing or trying to farm them, not so much.

well you also have to consider on alot of the maps there are atleast 3-4 artifacts that are so easy to get that someone could just go and get that one over and over. on ragnarok theres about 2-3 on the surface that someone or a group of players can go and collect without any effort involved (wyvern trench) on the island there is 2 caves that take about 2-3mins to do (1 by the volcano, 1 in the south) theres the Hope map where all the artifacts are in 1 area. so idunno if one artifact for a single v1 or v2 upgrade is that difficult to achieve as artifacts arent overly complicated to achieve.
