Stats
First discussion of stats, please pin this if this gets big!

Please try to make the stats less than the max 5.

  • +50% damage bonus against sapped buildings
  • 20% slower reload speed

The first stat: Revolvers base damage is 40, but the sapped buildings have a 33% damage resistance against Revolvers; making the damage 28 against sapped buildings.
This stat would make this revolver deal 42 damage against sapped buildings.

The second stat: Revolvers base reload speed is 1.16, this stat would make this revolver reload in aprox. 1.4 seconds.

Hold primary fire to charge shots:
-Takes 3 seconds
-Player gradually slows to 85% movement speed while charging
-Automatically fires when full charge is reached
-Fully charged shots deal knockback and cover target in jarate
-Gain a speed boost upon a successful fully charged shot

-50% damage penalty

I am aware that this is 6 or 7 stats

+ Right click to rapidly fan the hammer!

- +50% reloading speed
- -25% damage while fanning
- -25% firing speed

The reasoning behind the less recoil is that if I recall correcly, a bullet firing out of the bottom of a revolver chamber directs recoil more into the users hand rather than up, thus increasing accuracy. Fanning would increase fire rate to about that of the PBPP, while increasing bullet spread to like 7-8 degrees, making it a very capable short range ability. The -25% damage while fanning counterbalanced the ridiculous possible damage. The firing speed served not only for balance, but to simulate a single-action revolver, which is what fanning was used with. An animation where Spy ♥♥♥♥♥ the hammer between each shot would do well here, but I think we all know Valve isn't going to go through that much effort.

Here's a rough idea of my preferred stats.

- Headshots on full charge
- 10% slower while charging weapon

120 damage headshots that you need to charge with less movement with it.
