Cultural names for titles and realms do not appear until after the first character death. This applies to both players and A.I.

Figured I'd shift it here, bug report and all :P

In my games, characters from the French, Norman, Dutch, Hungarian and Russian cultures aren't being converted. In one game the leading Seljuks weren't converted either, though other Turks were. I've linked a screenshot so you can see:

*Edit: I should add, the version is up to date with all DLCs bar Sunset Invasion active and only ruler designer unlocked also active mod-wise.

*Edit: The conversion appears to go fine with the 769 start, which combined with those particular cultures being issues leads me to believe the problem is with converting composite cultures from later start dates/certain conditions.

Also thought I'd add that half-elves appear to revert to human shortly after birth, so no half-elves can actually exist. This could be me misinterpreting the race trait assignment though, I'm not sure.

Still a great mod overall, though :D

This is entirelly my bad, i'm so sorry! I forgot to mention that as of right this moment, the mod only works with the 769 start date. Ill update it in the description.

And i'll look into Half-Elves being white washed, and see if i can stop it.

Ahh, that explains it :steamhappy: It works great with the 769 start (still mostly works with the later starts except for the new cultures, seemingly).

The map doesn't change for me... no conversion of subjects either. Sorry. I'm here from the other version of the fantasy one since it's outdated I believe.

Yeah, the other mods are heavily out of date. Does it work with a 769 start, no other mods running? That sorted a similar issue for me, since the mod only works with that start date. On another note, in ruler designer/console can you see/add the traits?

Nothing that should change it I don't think. I added the dragon trait... politician thing and all wasn't there. I got the culture, religion and trait of the dragon and nothing changed. Except that I was the only non-human on the map.

Currently, the mod only works in 769. Dragons (while avaliable in Ruler Designer) are not supported. I'm still having issues with converting the nomads.

@Ganet, how the mod works is after the first loadup, an event fires for EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER that converts them to their fantasy counterpart. The total map conversion takes about 1 in game year to complete entirely. To see how it works, DO NOT choose a racial trait, fantasy culture, or fantasy religion in ruler Designer, the event will assign one to you.

Again, dragons while playable, are not featured atm so bugs surrounding them are being ignored atm.

I also dont have the politician mechanic from the other mods. Make sure you have them disabled. My mod is named "Gods and Fantasy by Xenotia".

Thanks for the reply. Though I really did prefer the dragons. Shame but I suppose I can wait till the bugs are worked out. Also... when this mod says you need all that DLC... does it mean... literally all of those DLC are necessary? Every single one? Because I only have about five.

Key DLCS are the Ruler Designer DLC and Reapers Due. You could probably slide by without the rest.

I'm getting a consistent (i.e., replicatable) crash to desktop. To make this message more readable, I'll abbreviate as follows:
Gods and Fantasy by Xenotia = GFX
Ruler Designer Unlocked! = RDU
Your Personal Castle = YPC

The crash to desktop happens when playing with GFX + RDU + YPC. I tried making a new game, and got another CTD. Always a few (less than 10) years after the start.

I swapped out GFX and added "Fantasy! Adds Elves, Dwarves, Dragons..." (along with RDU+YPC) and got no crash.

I only mentioned this since you said you were inspired by the Fantasy! mod. I can send you the saves or give you more information if that would help.
