What does this means? Is it we are able to mix Train and Metro tracks?
1. do we still need
Train Converter
2. Any of the current metro trains labeled as MOM; do they still work or do they need to be updated?
3. Any of the metro stations listed in the Train Converter XML, do they still work, I have an existing map with a working Metro Overhaul pre 9.0
I'm fine with stripping out the existing Metro configuration in my current game and start a new metro system. I just want to know is any of the old Metro Overhaul assets can be used or they all need to be updated before they can be used again.
2: any MOM station assets should work fine, and should in fact be convertible to Train if you want to
3:not 100% on this one, but i think that once a building is placed the net info doesn't change. so already placed ones will be fine. However once BP updates Train Converter to no longer convert buildings, they will all revert to their original menu setting and you will use the new dynamic converter to change it to MOM
1) What an update! Can’t believe it’s finally here, well done chaps and chapesses!
2) Some of the stations don’t give me the option to have heavy and light rail - is this the situation unless stations have been updated for the new mod?
3) The stations that do allow you to change the rails for heavy/light rail use have an issue whereby the tracks in the track selector don’t necessarily match up to which tracks will be converted, I.e. if I select the middle pair of tracks, one of the single side rails becomes the selected rail. Is this a known issue?
1) thank you!
2) Which stations? and between metro and train? (there's nothing specific about "heavy" and "light" rail in this game haha) - assuming they have vanilla station tracks, station tracks by ETST or my own station tracks then they will convert.
3)It's not so much an issue more a drawback of how the game handles networks. there's not anyway to tell it to order it visually from left to right, because it would change anyway depending on which way you look at it. Right now it's a matter of clicking, placing to see the result and deleting a replacing with what you want. Finicky but doable
