Automatic LCDs 2

Does {TG:name of group} work anymore?
I was usual to use the TG tag to isolate groups belonging to a grid when attached to a connector, to get exact values of power only of that particular grid using your dedicated script (i.e. tag: [CLN-LCD] on a grid -a ship - and another script running to the station with a different tag).
This seems not working on PowerStored tag, only G: works. It's working as intended?

TG should work the same for all commands: It looks for blocks that belong to group that is called exactly as the text you enter. eg. {TG:name of group} will only display blocks on the same grid as programmable block from group named 'name of group' but not group named 'name of group1'. I think having same group name on different connected grid may cause problems tho, but never heard anyone report any.

Probably Is like you said, same group name on different grids if connected gives no results.

I have not been able to figure out how frouping works? The manual doesn't specify or discuss groups at all. Just ocasional mentions that a group can be specified with a command, but how do you place blocks into a group? Is that a pre-defined thing? something I add to a blocks Label or custom data field?

If it is possible to define custom groups, is is possible to have a block in multiple groups?

Sorry for the necro, but i can't get this to work and don't see much point in opening yet another thread.

The grouping is working as far as i can tell. The issue is that its still reading the power and damage etc.. from all grids, instead of only those in the group.
