Subscribe as normal, then do NOT add it to the mod list. Simply load your world as normal with in-game scripts option enabled.
Build a programmable block in game, in the control panel for the programmable block select "Edit" then "Browse Scripts" and you will see a list of in-game scripts you are subscribed to.
Isy put together a short video on how to enable and load scripts, you can check it out to get more information.

i done this, not working, i add it with subscribing from steam.
Dude, what the heck is your issue? I've been giving support for this script for years and you come into a dead thread from three years ago just to accuse me of incompetence for telling people the truth, that in-game scripts DO NOT go in the mod list.
your reply was just as useless then as it is now, you COULD have explained how to load scripts but instead you just screeech the same thing over and over again telling people not to load them on the server.
The reason I could not get it to work was i was trying to load it onto the LCD screen where it says "select script to use" instead of the "edit" tab hidden at the very bottom.
This ♥♥♥♥ isnt explained anywhere by anybody, and jerks like you just assume everyone should already know everything about how to use this obscure and hidden part of the game.
If anyone else has this problem in the future instead of a dead thread with no useful information, now they know (because of me) that you have to scroll to the BOTTOM of the programmable block's interface and select "edit" then you can select a script to load.
Also, you know you can unsubscribe from a thread, right? lmao imagine getting mad at somebody for replying to a topic for more information instead of clogging the discussion board with unnecessary redundant threads.
I literally explained in my first and second posts in this thread how to enable in-game scripts, and how to load a script to a programmable block. I even linked a tutorial video in the second video hoping it would make it more clear how to go about it.
Also, the guide for this very script near the top in the section titled "One-time setup [Custom Data Support]" has a very detailed list of instructions on how to enable and load scripts in your worlds.
Since you apparently can't be polite when seeking support I will simply leave you to it.
Have a good day.
- Setup for dedicated servers has its own section in the guide which explicitly says that you should not add it to mod list (its not problem of the script that the game tries to load it as a mod even when it is in-game script or that you added it to mod list even tho nothing anywhere says you should do that)
- As far as I know in single player it does not normally allow you to add this as mod and it is primarily issue for dedicated servers where mod ids are just added to text file and people put this there.
So just to summarize what is written in this thread, on main script page as well as in the guide:
IN-GAME SCRIPTS CAN BE LOADED TO PROGRAMMABLE BLOCK IN VANILLA GAME WITHOUT MODS!
Some people just like to blame their own incompetence and laziness to read on others that are trying to help them. People like KUNG PAO are reason why I no longer reply to every single comment as it is exhausting dealing with people like that. Kham really took the torch when I was already exhausted dealing with toxic people and he was and still is doing amazing job. If it wasn't for people like Kham or Gromit who are really here for years helping people most people would not get any reply in last few years.
@KUNG PAO don't bother to ask any more questions.. answer specifically for you is: figure it out yourself or stop using it - nobody wants to deal with toxic person like you.
Thank you so much @Kham for your amazing work and patience!
